HISE Device Management
Inspect and release device use under the product allowance.
A device activation is not a purchase
Activation records permitted use on a machine. The customer's entitlement is separate. Releasing an old device does not refund its order or transfer product ownership.
Keep the generated machine identity stable. Test an existing device, a new permitted device, and a full allowance. Show the supported device/support path when the limit is reached.
Administrative changes
Use the scoped customer context to inspect activations and perform the permitted deactivation/reset action. Verify the selected product and device before changing access. Suspension, revocation, library hiding, and refund actions have different effects.
After deactivation, check reactivation and validation in the actual exported build. Do not interpret temporary network failure as proof that the device was released.
