HISEScript Offline Grace
Grace requires a previously valid state and cannot override a confirmed denial.
Grace is a bounded continuation
HISEScript uses a prior valid state and the server-provided grace expiry to tolerate an eligible connectivity failure. It is not first-run offline activation, a permanent unlock, or a fallback for a known revoked license.
Set offlineGraceDays according to your product policy; zero disables this grace path. Test a cold installation, a previously activated device, an expired grace period, and a restored connection separately.

Treat failures differently
| Condition | Expected integration decision |
|---|---|
| No valid prior state | Activation or online validation required |
| Connectivity failure with valid unexpired grace | Use the package-permitted grace state |
| Confirmed invalid, refunded, revoked, or otherwise denied access | Do not unlock by calling it offline |
| Expired grace | Require successful revalidation |
| Native HISE | Follow the downloaded native contract and test native enforcement |
| JUCE 0.6.0 | Online startup renewal; no offline audio access |
Release test
This guide describes the current implementation and package instructions. Source review does not certify every host, operating system, provider delivery, or payment lifecycle. Test the exact build and environment you intend to release.
Use controlled connectivity tests with test identities. Do not publish cache-failure or runtime screenshots as proof of states they have not exercised.
