Schedule a Product Release

Review draft readiness, local/UTC timing, launch actions and execution history.

Prepare privately, publish on a reviewed schedule

Schedule a draft product release using a local date/time and IANA time zone. Review the resolved UTC instant, product readiness and intended storefront/marketplace placement before confirming. Optional launch-sale settings are reviewed with the release, while existing subscription selling settings remain in place.

At execution, SoundSync rechecks the product, author permissions, billing, assets and approved actions. A blocked release needs attention. Polling, provider preparation and outages can delay publication; a schedule is not a guaranteed exact-second launch.

Resolve the launch before saving

ConcernWhat to check
Time zone and DSTUse a named IANA region. A nonexistent local time is rejected; a repeated time needs earlier/later disambiguation or an unambiguous UTC instant.
Review fingerprintPreview resolves the time and current product/actions. Save with that fingerprint and expected version; a stale review cannot silently replace a newer plan.
PermissionsProduct publication permission and product assignment apply. Storefront placement requires storefront management; replacing a workspace hero also requires all-products scope. Sales require product editing.
ExecutionThe draft stays private until execution. Readiness and authorship are checked again; a preview is not a publication.
RetryRetry eligible blocked/failed plans after fixing the cause. A changed product or review requires a new reviewed schedule; retry does not bypass readiness.
CancelCancel a pending plan. A completed release is not undone by cancellation; manage product visibility separately. Processing may already have begun.
