Affiliate Agreements and Referral Previews
Create an explicit product-scoped referral agreement and understand what a link preview does.
Give referrals a clear agreement
Define the recipient, eligible products, product-specific rates and effective date before sharing a referral link. The affiliate program is separate from marketplace discovery and external reseller fulfillment; its rates are agreed shares, not a second marketplace fee.
Agreement previews
Affiliate and collaborator programs are being introduced through agreement previews. Live commission accrual and recipient payouts are not enabled. Preview acceptance does not authorize payments; live participation will require separate acceptance and verified payout details.
Invite, review, and accept
An invitation is tied to the intended email address. Recipients sign in or create an account, verify their email, review the product scope and terms, then accept. A revised proposal does not silently replace accepted terms. Expired or revoked links cannot be accepted; generating a replacement revokes the old link.
Links and activity
Accepted preview agreements support storefront and eligible product link previews with aggregate click counts. A click count is not a unique visitor, confirmed purchase attribution, or payable commission. Coupon, recurring, and cross-domain attribution are not part of this initial preview.
SoundSync-managed settlement
SoundSync, not the developer, is responsible for the planned recipient payouts on SoundSync-collected sales. Applicable SoundSync fees are deducted first, then accepted affiliate and collaborator shares and the developer remainder are kept separate. The planned schedule is the same 1st and 15th schedule and minimum 14-day hold used for developer payouts, with refund and dispute adjustments. An external reseller receipt does not fund a payout: those proceeds remain unfunded until SoundSync actually receives the money.
Each recipient will need their own verified payout destination and earnings statement before live payments. The developer cannot withdraw another recipient's allocated share. Standard managed-checkout processing stays included in the 10% SoundSync fee.

Choose eligible products
The initial program setup excludes subscriptions and rent-to-own products. Product-specific rates and accepted versions control the preview. Reseller participation is an agreement option, not proof that external-sale funds have been collected.
