JUCE Plugin Notices Integration
Keep notice delivery separate from signed licensing and offline grace.
The complete package already connects the standard editor
The Windows and Apple JUCE source ZIPs add Store and Notifications buttons through the existing SoundSync editor attachment. The SDK recognizes the verified native plugin session and manages the separate notice token automatically; customers do not need to sign in again just to read an eligible notice. Follow Docs/PluginNotices.md in the generated package.
Built-in navigation destinations are store.browse and store.my_products. Enable the product notice channel and allow the destinations you intend to use. Additional named controls, alternate host views and a custom HTTP client are optional integrations, not extra steps required to attach the standard package.
Update the binary, not just the dashboard
The current complete JUCE source package integrates notice companion 0.3.1. The companion source ZIP is also available independently. Neither download updates an installed plugin: regenerate or merge the source deliberately, rebuild each supported format, test in the host and distribute the new binary.
The host owns its editor, audio enforcement, control registration and import workflow. Do not replace licensing callbacks with notice callbacks. A successful notice request cannot repair missing licensing credentials or extend an offline grant.

Create notice identity
Exchange valid native proof for a separate notice token, or use a deliberately enabled public channel. Never send a developer secret.

Register and signal
Use stable permitted control/navigation IDs and a fresh editor session UUID. Report actual supported editor events.

Lease and display
Fetch an eligible delivery, revalidate it and report shown only after full-card paint. Keep the lease current while displayed.

Handle actions
Validate the permitted action and current resource; report click and success/failure separately. Offer a public details fallback to clients without download support.

Close cleanly
Cancel callbacks for destroyed editors and release delivery ownership. Offline licensing continues under its own signed Access grace policy.
A message cannot unlock or install a product
Notice tokens are independent, short-lived capabilities. A notice response does not activate a device, refresh offline grace, authorize audio or create a paid entitlement. Licensing controls, serial fields, passwords and payment controls cannot be registered as notice triggers.
Content downloads use current ownership checks and private expiring links. The maintained companion saves the selected file and checks its available size/checksum; it never automatically installs, extracts, imports or executes it. Import remains a deliberate customer action. A selected Windows or macOS instruction set is shown, otherwise General; the sets are not concatenated.
