Activation Troubleshooting
Check owner proof, entitlement, and device policy separately.

Locate the rejected activation stage
| Stage | Check |
|---|---|
| Product identification | Use the generated app/product identity or standard product key/secret and intended environment; never a developer dashboard token. |
| Account challenge | Finish the authenticator/recovery-code step before using customer_token. A pending challenge cannot unlock audio. |
| Serial verification | Inspect pending/verified/restart-required states and finish the separate activation request. |
| Entitlement / subscription | Check ownership and current paid access. A failed payment is not an offline network exception. |
| Device limit | Review active devices and use supported deactivation. Deleting the local cache does not release the server slot. |
| Local persistence | Correct secure-storage access after a cache-write failure. Do not fabricate a cache or copy another device grant. |
