Paid twice a month
Developer payouts are scheduled for the 1st and 15th of each month in USD. Payments have a minimum 14-day hold and enter the first scheduled payout after that hold completes, subject to unresolved adjustments and account restrictions. Older eligible balances remain eligible on the next run. The scheduled date is the payment-initiation date, not a guarantee of arrival in a bank or payment account.
The policy is no contractual payout minimum and no routine reserve. Fees and documented adjustments are reconciled before the eligible balance is paid.
SoundSync
When your sale becomes payable
The 14-day hold is measured from the payment time. Payouts run twice a month, so a sale that matures between runs waits for the next scheduled run. Statement date ranges organize billing; they do not override the payment hold.
| Scheduled run | Eligible balance |
|---|---|
| 1st of the month | All unpaid eligible funds whose 14-day hold has completed by the scheduled run |
| 15th of the month | All remaining unpaid eligible funds whose 14-day hold has completed by the scheduled run |
Your balance and statement
For each sale, discounted pre-tax sale price minus the SoundSync fee gives the developer proceeds. Statements separately show platform charges, marketing usage, external redemptions, refunds, disputes, and transfers. Tax collected for remittance is not developer product revenue.
The $10 monthly minimum is a minimum total of SoundSync charges, not a $10 subscription added to every bill. Sale fees, marketing-email charges, redemption overages, and other applicable SoundSync charges count toward it. If those charges total $7, the minimum adjustment is $3; if they total $12, no minimum adjustment is added. Sale fees already deducted from your proceeds are counted toward the minimum, not charged again on the statement. The shortfall is reconciled after the calendar month closes, not added separately to every partial-month statement.
Where funds are held and paid
Managed payments are held through SoundSync's Stripe or PayPal payment arrangements before settlement. This does not mean every developer has a PayPal payout option. Confirm the available payout destination with support.
Product prices, checkout charges, developer statements, and payouts currently operate in USD. Developers bear applicable currency-conversion costs when receiving funds in another currency. Conversion rates and destination charges depend on the payment provider; no universal conversion percentage is promised.
Small balances and payment execution
There is no SoundSync payout minimum or routine reserve. Small positive USD balances follow the same eligibility and approval process as other payouts. Contact support about an unpaid eligible balance, an account restriction, or the payout destination available for your account.
If a payout has not arrived
Contact support with the statement period and payment reference. An unpaid or failed transfer remains a balance to reconcile, not a completed payout. SoundSync must distinguish a scheduled payment, provider acceptance, and receipt at the destination.
Closing a developer account
Request closure through support. New sales, campaigns, subscription renewals, credentials, and existing customer access need a coordinated closeout. Remaining eligible funds are due on the next applicable payout date; funds still within the hold follow their eligible cycle.
Request a final itemized statement. Closure does not erase unpaid fees, disputes, customer obligations, or records required by law. Closing-month minimum treatment and the customer access transition are confirmed as part of the closeout rather than assumed from a dashboard deletion.
Check the eligible run, not only the statement date
The payout schedule uses America/New_York by default. The displayed run and eligibility cutoff govern the account; monthly email and redemption allowances use UTC calendar months instead. A 14-day payment hold is a full elapsed hold, not an early release caused by a statement date bucket.
When open SoundSync invoices consume an entire approved eligible balance, an explicitly approved internal offset can settle the invoices without a zero-value provider transfer. That is settlement of charges, not money sent to your bank. Historical or mismatched balances require support reconciliation before payment.
